Great Overall July 18, 2010 Luv Mum (Los Angeles, CA United States) I've been using these snack cups since my daughter was 11 months old. She's now almost 3 & we still are using them for different times. It is a MUST for kids when your in the car, in the stroller, on a plane, at someone else's home. It is just a smart buy because it helps with limiting dropping things on the floor.
Cups are pretty good June 28, 2010 Crystal D. Gause-Hively (Fort Meade, MD USA) The only thing I don't like about these cups are their size...my toddler can eat everything in it in like a minute then is screaming for more.
and the rubber flaps that prevent messes on the top tend to bend and open up more after being in the dishwasher (top rack) a few washes. but we are still using the 2 we bought and I am actually online to buy 2 more :)
I was thinking about getting that Munchie Mug but i think I will let his nani and pop pop shell out the [...] bucks for me to try it :p Til then it's these handy dandy things!
Great for keeping little hands & minds busy! June 16, 2010 treehugr (Coconut Creek, Florida) I got these about a month ago and so far they have been really great! I put my 1-year old's favorite puffs in there and it will keep him occupied for at least 15 minutes (depending on how much I put in the bowl and how hungry he is). Perfect when we're out at a restaurant and want to keep him occupied while we eat. It's also great when I take him shopping - after awhile he gets stir-crazy in the shopping cart, which is when I pull out this secret weapon :)
Don't like these as much June 9, 2010 M. Tiwari (Berkeley, CA) Pros:
1. BPA free
2. Plastic, therefore doesn't break
3. Portable
4. Colors are cute
Cons:
1. Hard to get the stuff out
2. Tiny baby fingers get stuck
3. Can be a little frustrating for the child because things don't come out as easily
4. My child ends up dropping stuff out of it anyway because he has trouble pulling little cookies etc out of it
Not sure if I can recommend this wholeheartedly, but clearly some people liked it. Not sure i am one of them.
Disappointed, better than open cup, but does not work like advertised June 7, 2010 L. Krahn I was excited about this cup from the moment I found out about it. Now that I finally bought it, I'm so disappointed. The snacks don't stay in very well if it tips, and my daughter can shake them out easily (the gaps between the flaps are a lot bigger than in the picture). While there is less mess than with an open cup, there's still a mess... and if she had just dumped an open cup in her lap, it would be easier to pick up (all in one place) than when they fly across the room when she shakes it. I also wish there was a lid because if it tips in the diaper bag, they're going to be everywhere, plus stuff can fall into the cup too. I'm going to use it when we're outside and the cereal or whatever can be squirrel treats when we leave (and figure out a way to cover it), but not in the house or car-- I'll just keep putting a little pile in front of her then. Hopefully the shaking will not be an issue when she's a little older and then we can use it all the time. I probably won't recommend this to friends, unless they just want it for outdoor activities.
