 Bulky Pad with Oversized Vinyl Exterior July 17, 2010

Cons: Oversized vinyl exterior, Cotton covers by the same company barely fit after washing and drying
I purchased this pad along with a Summer Infant cotton cover. I wasn't crazy about it being vinyl because I don't like the chemical smell it gives off or the lack of breathability, but because this was pretty inexpensive I gave it a try anyway. After washing the cover, I put it on the changing pad and it was a very tight fit, almost to the point of not fitting at all. Also, the vinyl exterior of the pad seems too loose and it wrinkles badly with a tighter-fitting cover, creating a bumpy place to lay the baby. I suppose if a person bought a really thick cover or one that didn't pull at the sides this wouldn't be much of a problem, but if you buy the cotton covers it doesn't really work well.

This pad fit our Graco Dakota changing table and all the changing pad covers we bought perfectly. It's easy to cover and uncover, and wipes down clean (thank goodness!) No off-gassing odor. This was an excellent purchase.

We bought this as a second changing pad to keep downstairs. My son is 2 years old, and we change him on the floor using this pad. I love that it is longer than the pad on his old changing table, since he's too big for his changing table now. I can squeeze our regular changing pad covers on it but it's tight. My son flops down on it without hurting himself because it's so thick and sturdy. It does the job!

This is a good product. We put it ontop of a dresser and it fits just perfectly. It comes with a screw that way you can fasten it down if you need to.

I wanted a nice thick changing pad and this met all of my expectations and more! I couldn't believe how much more expensive they were at other Baby Stores. This one was so perfect we actually bought a second to have one upstairs and one downstairs. The size is big which we love, even though our little one is pretty little, she is secure with the straps and contoured sides! Great product and even better price!
